Solar Electric
There are three types of solar-electric systems:
grid-tied, grid-tied with battery backup, and off-grid
(stand-alone). Each type fits a particular application and
has specific component needs. Based on individual situations
such as sun exposure and the size of installation area,
solar panels can be roof mounted or ground mounted.
Solar Hot Water
Solar hot water is different from solar photovoltaic.
Solar photovoltaic panels produce electricity when exposed
to sunshine. Solar hot water panels produce hot water by
letting the energy of the sun heat water running through
copper pipes in solar collectors.
